What is AutoCAD?
AutoCAD is a Computer-Aided Design tool or Software used for developing 2D drawings & 3D models. It helps designers or users to develop drawings easily, quick and accurate. AutoCAD is widely used for the Engineering and Design applications by most of the Mechanical, Civil, Aeronautical and many various Engineers.
Why do we need AutoCAD?
AutoCAD is widely preferred for various drawing and modelling applications by Engineers due to many reasons:
- The ability to produce accurate designs.
- Easy modification of designs.
- Conceptualizing ideas to make an efficient design.
- Less Time-consuming.
- Easy customer modifications can be performed.
- Designs can be revised.
Who uses AutoCAD?
As stated above, AutoCAD is used by many of the Engineers, Architects, Interior Designers for providing effective designs in a short span of time. Some Fields where AutoCAD is used for developing part designs & final Assembly are :
- Aerospace Industry.
- Rail & Marine Industries.
- Automotive Industries.
- Building Skyscrapers, Bridges, Roads, etc., by Civil Engineers.
- For Machine & it's part drawings for Mechanical Engineers.
- For Circuit designs for Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
